My Twine Game

Twine

I created an online story board on twine which is an interactive media product. The  purpose of this is to show creativity, choice making, individuality and to help the people playing be able to make their own choices.

 I wanted to show people that I can use my own mind, imagination and make my own decisions to create my own little horror story. I also choose horror because its something different to a comedy and I would choose horror over comedy because i like more of the jumpscares and blood/gore than something funny.

My Twine Game includes, choices, genre, videos,images and an overall story. I embedded the images by copying the link and deleting the first bit of the link before pasting on to a passege on twine. I searched for a video on youtube, when I found one I copied the link and pasted in to a passege on twine. I think once I knew how to do both the images and videos I found it qiuite easy.

I choose the genre horror because I like the jumpscare movies and the movies with all the bllod/gore and ghosts than a comedy or a sad film. I also like the sound effects and make up you can create when it comes to a horror film.

I enjoyed using twine and creating my interactive media game because it taught me to use creative/quick thinking.  It also taught me how to developed new skills and more understanding on using interactive madia products in general.

FaceBook

Facebook is a popular social media site used by thousands in and around the world. The technology that can allow access to Facebook is the internet. Its uses are obviously social media but it can also be used for stuff like business, Advertising and News and company's use it to market their business.

They are certain techniques that everyone uses on Facebook which are commenting on statuses/pictures, use non verbal communication by typing messages to each other and educating people on cyber bullying and how to use their English in the right way.

YouTube

YouTube such as Facebook is a popular video website but also can be used for social media when it comes to leaving comments and liking videos that have been uploaded,  people can upload their own video and get comments and likes of other people around the world.

The uses that YouTube has can be non verbal communication by commenting on videos, like Facebook you can also create a personal account/profile which includes personal information about that one person, it can also be used for advertising/business. business just like any company can use YouTube to promote their business by uploading videos of presentations which can also be used to demonstrate public speaking skills. You can also earn money by uploading a variety of videos on YouTube and it getting over a million views.

YouTube helps to improve their Speaking/English skills and teach them on how to use the right body language when creating a video.
